KRR ProStream Supports Local Environmental Charity

Guildford Environmental ForumThe team at KRR ProStream are delighted to be supporting one of our local charities, the Guildford Environmental Forum, via the donation of some IT equipment.

The Guildford Environmental Forum (GEF) has been in existence for more than 20 years, raising awareness around a range of environmental issues from recycling and waste management though to energy efficiency and sustainable building practices.  In addition to organising talks and forging links with other local organisations, the GEF also lends practical support to a wide range of community projects, including ongoing work to reduce the environmental impact of Guildford's public buildings and transport systems.

John Bannister is the GEF Executive Officer for Schools, Renewable Energy and Community Projects.  He said,

"Our mission has always been to raise awareness about climate change, the need to reduce our use of fossil fuels and the use of the earth's other resources, and to safeguard wildlife for future human generations. We do this through strong links with similar organisations and businesses, tracking technology, arranging interesting speakers on related topics and implementing community projects.

"The gift of KRR...is greatly appreciated and will help to improve our operational effectiveness."

We hope that this will be the start of a new relationship between KRR ProStream and the GEF, and we are already looking forward to joining them 'in the field' on one of their forthcoming community projects.  Watch this space for more information!
